Fresh Produce Safety Plan for Field Practices

Created with SARE support
2010

Developing a food safety plan requires knowledge of farming practices and best management practices training. This guide is one resource producers can use in developing a food safety plan. Created by North Carolina State University, the guide provides a framework for developing food safety plans using GAPs. In addition to this document, growers are encouraged to seek out GAP training and consult experts from Cooperative Extension or other organizations on GAP certification.
